Rossana Rizzo was born and raised in Brooklyn. She studied cinematography at the School of Visual Arts and has worked for over ten years in the Motion Picture Industry. Her work can be seen in documentaries such as Capturing the Friedmans and The Recruiter, as well as the narrative thriller All Good Things.
Photography has been a long time love since her father bought her a 110 camera at the age of eight. She has spent many years photographing everyday life and the constantly changing face of the city she grew up in. At the moment she is working on multiple personal projects that explore the themes of transience and nostalgia.
